The best book of course is "The Icon Programming Language" by Ralph and Madge
Griswold. If you're having trouble locating it there in the UK, you can always
order it through the Web at http://www.amazon.com (the most amazing online
bookshop). You can also order it directly from The ICON Project at the
University of Arizona; ordering it directly from them has the added advantage
that they virtually always have the book in stock, and usually will throw in
some other technical reports along with the book. :-)
